It is according to The Biology of Belief which details how behavior is genetically transferred from the grandmother to grandchildren via the mother. But something else was transferred: the expression of the genes. You are not your DNA, but you most definitely are the expression, and that's what you ultimately control. You can overcome anything just by believing you can (Mark 11:23). Belief is the expression of your DNA that you inherited. All human behavior is belief.

The problem with Christianity is that it addresses the symptoms, never the causes. The Biology of Belief reveals the cause, thus it reveals the cure. The truth sets you free, but addressing the symptoms keeps you enslaved and blind to the fact that you have the keys.

The Bible documents this, Christianity gaslights it. You were told that that because Eve sinned, we're all born sinners and we have to accept Jesus as our Savior to avoid hell. Truly stated. A statement of truth: Eve believed she wasn't like God, per the snake, so she performed the suggested action and instantly felt naked and afraid and his herself.

Sin is believing the wrong things about yourself. When you believe the wrong things about yourself you believe the wrong things about everything else, and you will instantly feel, think, and act accordingly. You will hurt others because you yourself are hurt. It's this expression that is transferred with your genes. According to the discoverer of epigenetics (Dr. Bruce Lipton, The Biology of Belief) 70% of epigenetic expressions are negative.

Christianity itself is negative. God is love, religion is fear. God is wealth and abundance, religion is wealth transfer and scarcity. Jesus's biblical—puns always intended—rant in Matthew 23 got him killed. He pointed out that the Pharisees were corrupt not only for implementing a sin tax (which they stored in the Holy of Holies — your heart is where your treasure is) but also for the generational trauma they inflicted. Those who believed what the Pharisees said became twice the hell that the Pharisees were.
