I have all kinds of thoughts about this article.

First, getting away from traditional temple/church settings is one of the reasons why Jesus went out into the countryside. There, people were gathered without reminders of the social hierarchy. The desert is a beautiful place, and a stark reminder that God is love. Free from the confines and conveniences of community, spontaneous, responsive communities rise up for however short or long as necessary.

Two, people always remember how you made them feel. The greatest command doesn’t require a church infrastructure and its corollary social structures that so easily distract. All that is required is love. While many people make a great showing of their piousness or social standing, Jesus wants none of that. In the desert, everyone is dependent on each other, and miracles become the norm.

Three, God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him (John 4:16). Greater works are a natural outcome of love. Love is the greatest command. Love is what powers the entire cosmos.

When I discovered the rational statement of how beliefs work, I spontaneously realized the physicists who understand that rational statement would realize that we humans are the holy grail that links classical physics with quantum physics. We do so by merely believing that all things are possible.

The way we treat people comes from accepting people as they are instead of judging them and ignoring their needs. We prosper or suffer according to the way…
